Uncle Paul’s Thought: You are going to make mistakes in life, but the most important thing is, that you learn from them. Remember this, the biggest screw up you can make in life, is just to give up and stop trying. You have more than one shot to create the life you want, so when you screw up in life, just keep trying until you get it right.

Life is all about the journey.

Uncle Paul’s Thought: Life is all about the journey and self-discovery is an inward process that you must be willing to experience, to gain clarity about your own life purpose. It is up to you, to dig deep and to change your life from bitter to better. But, first you must change your mindset, and once you do, you will radically change the trajectory of your life. Remember this; it is up to you to create the life experience that you aspire. When you follow your own true path, suddenly your life will become clearer, and those things that had previously been a roadblock in your life will become a blessing in disguise. The most important journey one must travel is the journey within.

Adjust Your Sails And Ride The Wind

Uncle Paul’s Thought: Life is like a sailboat, sometimes unexpected, storms, challenges, and trials come our way and blow us off course. That is when we realize, that starting over is not an option, we just have to weather the storms. Your boat may get battered and go off course, but it won’t sink. Remember this, we can’t change the direction of the wind, but we can adjust our sails to help us reach our destination.

Let Go & Grow

Uncle Paul’s Thought: Change is never easy, but we must let go of the things we don’t need. Never abandon your sanity for something that you should have let good a long time ago. Remember this, the thing that you pay the most attention to grows.  So, focus on what really matters and let go of what does not. Let go and grow.

Uncle Paul's Thought: Stop and look around, take a pause and just feel the moment. Be grateful for the now and for this moment, for frankly, it is all we have. Live in the moment, for life is short, and we don’t know how short it is. Live in the present and spend less time worrying about tonight, tomorrow, next week, next month, next year. Live your tomorrow, today, for we never know what life will give us from moment to moment. This moment is when life happens and when we fully engage in the moment we are truly alive. Accept this moment just the way it is.

It’s just a thought.

Let Go Of Your Weights...

Uncle Paul’s Thought: Stop trying to resuscitate that which is dead. At some point, we must lay down our burdens, and that thing or people that have been weighing us down. We must call for the time of death, issue them a death certificate and bury them with no marker, never to be found again. Remember this; life is too short to waste on that which is already dead. Ashes to ashes, dust to dust. Uncle Paul (Paul Steven Smith)

Don't Settle For The Suitable

Uncle Paul’s Thought: Never settle for average. Don't give up the best for good. Don't fall for the temptation to settle for the suitable. Don't give up. Don't quit. Your due season is coming. Don't stop short. Press on until you receive the complete fulfillment of the promise. Don't settle for the suitable. Remember this, never settle for substitutes to satisfy your hopes, dreams and the craving of your soul. Because, in the end, it won’t work. Keep pushing for the real thing

Just Follow You Heart

Uncle Paul’s Thought: Your heart is your best tool to reach within and unfold your true passion and purpose. When you lead from your heart, inspiration will begin to flood your heart and your soul, and you will soon gain insights into what brings you the most happiness. Start taking steps to do what you love, and you will connect with your true inner happiness. Follow your heart, and your purpose will introduce its self.

It’s just a thought

Your Past Had A Purpose

Uncle Paul’s Thought: Life is full of highs and lows. The highs of successes are easy to handle, but the failures of our past seem to linger on forever. We must understand that our past failures and success helped propel us to where we are today. But, we must not rest on our past even though it was an essential step to reaching our success. We must find a way to use the lessons learned from the past, but not allow our past to define us. We must use our history as a stepping stone, to get us where we want to go. Remember this, what got us here won’t necessarily, get us there.

You Can't Control It All

Uncle Paul’s Thought: Things are going to happen in our lives that we just, can’t control. We can't prevent a storm from coming, but we can prepare for it. We can't control how someone else behaves, but we can control how we react. Don't try to fix people who don't want to be fixed. Fix thou self, first. Focus on changing your behavior. And even if the storm hits us, usually, the worst-case scenario isn't as tragic as we might have envisioned. So, change the channel in your mind and focus on the thing you have control over and find a way to deal with the things you don’t. Just keep telling yourself, I can handle this; because I am stronger than I think.

Visualization Is Not Enough

Uncle Paul’s Thought: Visualization is just the starting point, you still have to put in the hard work. Yes, write down your goals, make your plans, create your vision board, visualize the scene, feel the excitement, feel the motivation, find your drive and then, get started. Visualization is not enough; you need to work like hell for your dreams, every day. If you see it and if you work hard, you can achieve it.

Uncle Paul’s Thought: You don’t have to continue to be a prisoner behind your self-made bar. Freedom is a state of mind. Freedom is an inside job. It’s Just A Thought

"We all have a past. We all have things we wish we could change and things we wish, would have never happened at all. Every one of us, have done stuff that we would rather not recall."
