Life is about the here, and now, it is about accepting the now, with the what and the who that is in it. We must learn to embrace the present moments of life with without conditions. The best present you can give someone is your full attention in that moment. We often think that on tomorrow something better, something more fulfilling, something more rewarding will come our way. But the time is now, not tomorrow, nor the next day. We must wake up to the present and not keep daydreaming of what could be on tomorrow. We must be grateful for this moment in life, appreciating everything and every moment it has to offer.

Look, you are not on your way to somewhere, you are already there. You are not on your way to a more important time or place; you are already there. This moment that you are standing in is not your stepping stone to your ultimate destination; it is your ultimate destination. You see, we spend so much of our lives trying to reach that better place. That better place does not exist, the only thing that exists is the here and now. This present moment. We waste too much time in our lives, looking behind and in front when all we’ve ever need is standing in the present moment. Live the moment, whatever it is. For we don’t know the grand plan because God has his own ways.

Uncle Paul's Thought: Stop and look around, take a pause and just feel the moment. Be grateful for the now and for this moment, for frankly, it is all we have. Live in the moment, for life is short, and we don’t know how short it is. Live in the present and spend less time worrying about tonight, tomorrow, next week, next month, next year. Live your tomorrow, today, for we never know what life will give us from moment to moment. This moment is when life happens and when we fully engage in the moment we are truly alive. Accept this moment just the way it is.

It’s just a thought.
