We must understand, that we may never overcome our weaknesses, but we can stop paying too much attention to them. You see, we must change what we focus on, we must focus on our strengths and not our weaknesses.
All in Faith
We must understand, that we may never overcome our weaknesses, but we can stop paying too much attention to them. You see, we must change what we focus on, we must focus on our strengths and not our weaknesses.
I know we all want to be liked and accepted, by other, and by doing so, we find ourselves trying to fit in the box of conformity. But, we already know, we don’t fit into that box. How can you make a round peg, fit into a square hole? People will try and tell you what will make you happy, but you already know, that is not so.
"No matter how many setbacks you have experienced in life. Nothing can stop you from being better. Nothing can stop you from being stronger. Nothing can stop you from your comeback. So, don’t despair or give up, when you face challenges in life. Keep writing your story, for your next chapter, may very well be, your comeback story. " Uncle Paul
We must learn not to react, instead, look at them with a smile and one of those looks, which says, WATCH ME, I am going to do this thing.
"Today is a new day. A day with no history or past. There comes a time when we must stop allowing our past to dictate our destiny. At some point, we must stop playing the victim role and rise up, out of the dust and move closer to our goals, our dreams, and the life that we have been promised." Uncle Paul
The measure of one’s success, should not be measured by what they have acquired or accomplished in life. One’s success should be measured by the success of those that you have mentored, taught and sowed seeds into their lives.
Live life one day at a time.
Be grateful for the small things.
Don’t focus on the thing you cannot change.
Be wise enough to know when not to react.
Take time to breathe.
Never try to live someone else’s dreams.
Stay faithful to your call.
But most of all, remember that life is short.
We are here for a little while.
So, live life to the fullest.
It’s just a thought.

Stop focusing on everything that is bad in your life and focus on the good. Change your inner voice from, “I can’t” to “I can.” Start acknowledging the good qualities about yourself. Change your thoughts from negative to positive. Visualize where you would like to be in your life, takes Dig deep, and find yourself again.
"We all find ourselves sometimes falling into the trap of over thinking the task at hand. We then begin to feel as if the task is too big for us to complete. We spend precious time complaining, blaming others, and making excuses, instead of getting the job done. But once we get back on track, we soon realize that the job was not as challenging as we thought."
Our biggest fears in life can all be conquered if we just take the first step. Taking the first step to accomplishing our dreams, our goals, and our passion can be difficult. But, if we never take risks, chances are, we will not live our lives to its fullest. We must push ourselves if we are to ever discover our limits. We must take the first step. We may trip, we may stumble, and we may even fall, but we must take that first step. For if we never take action, then we cannot go too far. We will find ourselves stuck in a constant state of decomposition. Let's get to stepping. It’s just a thought. Paul Steven Smith (Uncle Paul) www.unclepaulsthoughts.com
Let's not complain about the rain today. You see the rain is necessary for growth. For us to grow and become what we should be life, a little rain and some storms are necessary. When I was a kid, I heard a saying, “April showers bring May flowers.” So, the next time a storm comes your way, don’t freak out, find the strength, in the midst of the storm, to just keep living and then prepare to flourish. "I’ve learned a lot in my short sprint of life, that my greatest lessons have come through my most painful life’s experiences. As I look back over my life, I am now grateful, for each of those experiences, because without them, I would not be who I am today. As painful as those lessons where, I am now thankful, for every one of those life’s challenges."It’s just a thought. Paul Steven Smith (Uncle Paul) www.unclepaulsthoughts.com
As we walk our journey through life, there are three things that we must master as we embark upon the trip. First, we must learn to be quiet for a minute and listen to ourselves, listen to others and hear what the Spirit has to say. Secondly, we must learn to be patient with ourselves, patient with others and patient with our creator. Finally, we must learn to love ourselves, to love others and to love the one that created us. If we can master these three things, then we can master life. It’s just a thought. Paul Steven Smith (Uncle Paul) www.unclepaulsthoughts.com
Climb Your Ladder The creator of the universe has given each of us our own life ladder to climb. This ladder was uniquely designed with you in mind. This ladder is just for you, and no one else can climb your ladder, and you cannot climb anyone else’s. For every rung that you climb, is designed with your destiny and purpose in mind. You must be careful never to allow others to force you to live out the dreams, that they were not brave enough to live. For it would be sad, to get all the way to the top of the ladder, only to realize that you have been fulfilling someone dreams and your dreams are still on step number one, of your ladder.
If you are to conquer your fear, you must do it now. You see, the longer you think about it, the worse it gets. The longer you wait, the more fear builds. If you wait for fear to leave before you act, fear will never leave, and you will never act, your fears must be conquered.
We must understand that fear is not necessarily a bad thing. So often we look at our fears in a negative way, but actually, our fear can be a very positive force. Our fears can signal that we are changing, growing, developing and moving outside of your comfort zone. You can ask anyone who has ever made major changes in their lives; there is always some fear and dis-ease. That is part of it. Look, if it were easy, we would have already done it. We must take our fears and use them to our advantage.
For a very long, time fear has controlled me. Fear has paralyzed me. Fear has stopped me from living the life of my dreams. This week I have come to recognize the fear within me, and I have finally begun the process of facing it. I believe by facing my fears, rather than react to them, will help me take the next step forward.
I constantly say I wish I had more hours in the day. It’s one thing everyone wants, and yet it’s impossible to attain. But what if you could free up significant time—maybe as much as 25% of my evenings, to focus on the task that really matters?
Sometimes when life knocks us down, we feel as if we have been ejected from the game of life. We feel like the game is over. Then we quickly realize, that even though we are facing challenging times in our lives, it doesn’t mean the end of the world. You see, others have survived some of the same things that we are going through. Some, even more, traumatic and painful and yet, they survived it and somehow found the strength to go on and not give up.
