All in Faith

Don’t Live Your Life For Others.

“Don’t choose your path in life, based on the expectations set on you by others, whether it’s your parents, friends, or society in general. You decide how you are to live your life, and as much as your loved ones love you, they don’t know it all, and they don’t know exactly what path is right for YOU. This is your life, so stop waiting for others to approve of your life and approve your own decisions in life, after all, it is your journey.” Uncle Paul

Life’s Hard Facts

“Let me put it this way, we still have our set of standards of behaviors, but we already know that some people won’t be able to meet those standards. But we keep imposing our standards and expectations on them, and we keep getting hurt and disappointed. At some point, we must lower our expectation of them or sever ties with them. In the end, it is about what we are and are not willing to accept from others, and that is a choice that you will have to make. We must do what is best for us, and sometimes you have to let some things go and move on with life. But, that’s up to you and you alone.” Uncle Paul

Just Do Your Best With What You Have

“Don’t be too hard on yourself. Do your best with what you have at this moment, and the rest will fall into place. If you fail while trying, you will at least get a good work out by trying. Remember this; even mistakes mean you’re trying. Be yourself, do your best with what you’ve got, and follow your passion in the right direction. When you give all you can right now, nothing else really matters. Just do your best, after all that is all we can do.” Uncle Paul

People Enter Our Lives For A Reason

“Not everyone that enters our lives is meant to stay; people enter our lives for a reason and for season. The length of their stay doesn’t matter. They come into our lives because they are a part of our destiny. Whether they stay or leave, our souls have forever been impacted. There  fingerprints will always be on our heart.” Uncle Paul

We Have So Much To Be Thankful For…

“As we start the week of Thanksgiving, we should make a conscious effort to be thankful every day of our lives. I think it is essential that we put things in perspective. This year, someone won’t be at the table that was at the table last year. Next year, someone else will transition. That is why it is important that we spend the time that we have now, with the ones we love. For tomorrow is not promised to any of us, but the hours are getting shorter for all of us. Let’s be mindful not to be so busy looking to the past that we forget what is right here in the now. Thus, let us be thankful to this life that we are living right now.” Uncle Paul

Do It Afraid!

“Even though you are fearful, you must keep walking forward. You must keep walking into the darkness, going not knowing what is ahead, but walking knowing that the path that you are walking on has already been prepared for you. When you fall, get up, brush yourself off and keep walking, keep going, confront your fears and keep confronting them. Keep walking afraid, for each step you take is a victory. Do it afraid!” Uncle Paul

Life Will Test You

“Life has taught us, that we must give it our best shot and that the outcome is not in our control. Because, even when we give life our best shot, sometime our best won’t be good enough. Sometimes we will win and sometimes we will lose, but we must never let our passion fade, nor can we give up. Life will test you, but remember this, the more you are tested, the stronger you will become.”

Uncle Paul

Learn To Forgive and Let Go

“We all have had bad things happen in our lives, that if we choose to allow it, they can define us. We must make up our minds, not to allow what happened to us in the past, define who we are. We are not our pain. We are not our past. We are not our hurt. We are not our scars. But most of all, we are not what others say we are. But, we are who we say we are. It is up to us to define who we are in life.”

Uncle Paul

Everything Must Change

“Our deepest fear is the fear of the unknown. The fear of going not knowing. The fear of walking into darkness, not being able to see what is ahead, but trusting the journey. The thing we fear the most is the thing we need the most, change. Today is a new day, and we must forget those things that are behind us and press forward with new memories.” Uncle Paul

We Can’t Control Life

“So, let’s all stop crying and acting like we are entitled to something. Check yourself. When things don’t go our way, stop whining and complaining and just move on. Just scream NEXT! Because we all know there will be a next. Keep your heads down, and just keep working, knowing that you are leaving it all out on the dance floor every day. Someone once told me, hard work is honorable. Look, just as we can’t control the weather, we can’t control life. So, just keep pushing and you will reap your harvest if you faint not. Don’t quit, just keep pushing.” Uncle Paul

We Control Our Own Destinies

“So, stop looking towards the stars for directions, look within yourself. Our destinies are not in the stars or the moon; our destinies are within ourselves. We control our destinies, so stop complaining about what you don’t have, if you want something different, if you want something more, then do something more. If not shut up and stop complaining and learn to live your life with what you have. It’s just that simple, if you want it, go get it, if not stop complaining.”

If You want To Grow, Accept Life’s Challenges

“Life is full of challenges, but these challenges are only given to us because our creator knows that our faith is strong enough to get us through them. When you face difficult times, know that life’s challenges are not sent to destroy us. They are sent to grow us and to strengthen us.” Uncle Paul

Stop Wasting Precious Time

“So, we must make the best of the time that we are given. For the future is not promised, so we must seize today and live it like there will be no tomorrow. We must love today day as if we have never been hurt before. We must step out on the dance floor of life, and dance like nobody is watching. We must sing like we are in the shower and nobody listening, and we must live like its heaven on earth. Each day comes bearing its own gifts, and we must untie, the ribbons, open the box and use the gift.” Uncle Paul

What's Your Story

“We each have a story. We carry them all the time. We carry them on our faces. We carry them through our actions. We carry them in the words that we speak and tell them more by emotions. Each of our stories is unique to us and only us. The only thing anyone else can know is what we choose to tell them. We are the authors of our stories, and we have the power to choose how the story will end. My prayer is that we choose wisely.” UNCLE PAUL

Reframe Your Story, Reclaim Your Life

“We are the storytellers, the narrators of our lives, we choose the story of our highs and lows, and we can spin our stories in any direction we want. That is, we can reframe our stories so that they serve and support us. In the end what really matters is not what happens to us, but the stories that we tell ourselves about what took place. What, story are you speaking? Reframe your story, reclaim your life.”

Uncle Paul

Simplify Your Life

“Life is simple, but we keep adding layers of complexity that we don’t need. Especially when we are living on your own terms, meeting your own expectations, rather than try to satisfy everyone else. At some point, we must ask ourselves who am I? Will the real you, please stand up? It’s time to start getting to know who we are again. Try something new today, just be you.”
