We all have been hurt. We have all experienced some kind of emotional pain. We all have had bad things happen in our lives, that if we choose to allow it, they can define us. We must make up our minds, not to allow what happened to us in the past, define who we are. We are not our pain. We are not our past. We are not our hurt. We are not our scars. But most of all, we are not what others say we are. But, we are who we say we are. It is up to us to define who we are in life. We must let go of whatever it is that’s holding us back from experiencing ourselves. And, we must also let go of anything that gets in the way of who we really want to be. We must learn from our past, but not relive the past. Holding on to pain doesn’t fix anything or change anything. Wishing things were different doesn’t make it so. We must accept the fact that we have a past. We must let go of what is holding us back. We must release ourselves from our past. We must grow from your experiences, and we must forgive and let go.
