We Control Our Own Destinies
One thing that has always bothered me is when people blame their lack of success on others. They believe because their fates have already been determined. Our paths in life are not predetermined. We are not bound by our destinies. We create our own destinies. We control our own destinies.
As any successful person will tell you, that your fate isn’t tied to the whim of others. If one door closes, ring the next bell until you get what you want. If you want something bad enough, you will do what you have to do to get it. Those who give up will never achieve dreams. If we quit at the first sign of trouble, we will never achieve anything. You have to be willing to fail and pick yourself back up and try again. Persistent people are the ones are still standing while everything around them is crumbling to the ground.
So, stop looking towards the stars for directions, look within yourself. Our destinies are not in the stars or the moon; our destinies are within ourselves. We control our destinies, so stop complaining about what you don’t have, if you want something different, if you want something more, then do something more. If not shut up and stop complaining and learn to live your life with what you have. It’s just that simple, if you want it, go get it, if not stop complaining.
