"Anytime, is a good time to laugh. May your days be filled with joy and at least one good, gut-wrenching, tears running down your face, belly-laugh." Uncle Paul
All in Faith
"Anytime, is a good time to laugh. May your days be filled with joy and at least one good, gut-wrenching, tears running down your face, belly-laugh." Uncle Paul
"The gifts and talents that we have been given, are not for our own benefit. They are to be used for the benefit of others. The gifts of God, are given to be used, and not to be hoarded nor collected. So, unwrap your gifts and discover God's will, and His purpose for your life. After all, there is a good work that He has prepared in advance, that you must walk in." Uncle Paul
"When life's adversity knocks at your door, answer it. Because whether you know it or not, you already have the strength to overcome them. Open your eyes and look deep within and find that inner strength and courage that you already have, to get through them. It is time for you to show the world what you are an overcomer." Uncle Paul
"Now is the time to forgive the ones that have hurt us and to forgive ourselves. If we continue to hold on to unforgiveness, we will continue to be locked up in our mental prison. You see, forgiveness says to the one that hurt us, I'm beyond your reach now. You no longer control my life. I will no longer allow you to deplete my energy. I choose to unlock the mental prison door that I have been locked behind. I declare and decree that my prison doors are now open, I reclaim my power, and I now give you to God, and I will never look back. If Jesus could forgive the very men nailing him to the cross, I guess, I can forgive you. You are forgiven, and I am now free. I now give myself permission to celebrate, my new-found freedom. Let go, forgive and be free." Uncle Paul
"Forgiveness is one of the greatest gifts you can give yourself, forgiveness is also a process, an evolution, a journey, that is well worth the fare. So, don't hold a grudge against others and most of all, be liberal with your forgiveness."
Do me a favor, send three people a note and just tell them, thank you. So, to my best friend, thank you for your ear. To the love of my life, thank you for your heart and to my church family, thank you for always loving me. Uncle Paul
"
One of the hardest things in life is to find the strength to shine again, in the face of our public failures. We are all a work in progress, and maybe we should change the way we look at our failures. Just maybe we should see them as a life turning point because each of our failures has helped us evolve into the people we are today. So, today I am truly thankful for every one of my failures, and you should be too."
"Every challenge in my life, has become a classroom, that has taught me some of life's most profound lessons. My life's challenges have taught me, that I can endure very difficult challenges with a certain degree of confidence, knowing that I've been tested before, and I passed my test with flying colors. You see, before life's trials, I didn't know my own strength. I now know the I can and will overcome my next life challenge. So, I drop to my knees and thank God for the opportunities that I have been afforded to learn at the feet of life's challenges." Uncle Paul
"Remember this, there is a purpose for everyone you meet in life, both positive and negative. No relationship is a waste of time. Even the wrong ones have a purpose, for they prepare us for the right ones. Appreciate everyone that enters your life, because they are all contributing to your growth and helping you become better as an individual." Uncle Paul
"Everything that is happening in our lives has a reason, and that reason has a purpose. It is entirely up to us, to decide how we will experience what we are experiencing. Look within, and you'll know exactly what to do."
"True friends are rare and special, when you find one, you better find a way to keep them. We should be thankful for our true friends. So, to my true friends, thank you for being my friend. Always and forever, true friends!"
Day Four: 40-Day Journey of Gratitude
Today, I am thankful for my haters. What I have learned over the years is that having haters in my life is a good thing. They help me understand how blessed I am. They also remind me, that someone cares enough to be watching me, so I must be doing something right. But most of all, it gives me an opportunity to show someone who really needs it, some love.
"God uses all kind of people to help you with your testimony. The very person that's hating on you could be the one God uses to help you. So, treat people like you want to be treated, no matter how they treat you. You never know how God can turn your haters, into your biggest cheerleaders. Use you your haters to build you a testimony." Uncle Paul
"You may not have the best of everything, but you are alive, and you probably have more than most people do. There comes a time where you must count your many blessings, and once you do, you will realize what you have, so, appreciate it, and take care of it. Consider the simple thing in your life that you have and be grateful for each of them." Uncle Paul
"When you wake up early in the morning, take time to focus on what you do have in life and not on what you want in life. Be thankful for the blessings of the little things, even when you don't get what you expect. Because when we can be thankful for the little, our little can become much." Uncle Paul
"Life is short, and it is never too late to put aside those things that are robbing us of the life we are capable of living. Things can change for us if we truly want them too. After all, it is up to us to choose to stop existing and to start living the life we were created to live." Uncle Paul
"If you change how you see the experiences of life, you will change how you experience the experiences of life." Uncle Paul
"Never waste an experience. There will come a time, when you will be able to say to the universe, thank you for that experience." Uncle Paul
If you want something to exist in your life, it must first exist in your consciousness and then you have to put in the work to make it materialize. Your thoughts are just not enough. Uncle Paul
"Make room in your heart for truth, love, and light. Once you do, you will know how to live again. It's your time to come alive again. You deserve it." Uncle Paul
"The universe is speaking to us but, we are not listening. Our bodies are speaking to us, but we are not listening. Our relationships are speaking, but we are not listening. Life is speaking to us, but we are not listening. The wind is speaking, but we are not listening. The birds are speaking, but we are not listening. God is speaking, but we are not listening." Uncle Paul
