Day Fourteen: 40-Day Journey of Gratitude (Part 1)
Today I am thankful for forgiveness, even though I have been slow to offer it and even slower, receiving it. At some point in our lives, we've all had to forgive someone. Over the years I have learned that forgiving someone can be one of the most challenging things to do in your life. Yet, it's through forgiveness that our deepest wound are healed, and we are freed, from our prisons of anger, hate, self-pity, and self-contempt.
My prayer today is, Lord, fill me with the faith and love and enable me to forgive, and teach me to forgive others like thee, seventy times seven.
Uncle Paul's Thought: Forgiveness is one of the greatest gifts you can give yourself, forgiveness is also a process, an evolution, a journey, that is well worth the fare. So, don't hold a grudge against others and most of all, be liberal with your forgiveness.
