All in Love

Your Pain Is Not For You

“Maybe God has allowed some pain and suffering in your life so that it would open the doors of opportunity for us to help those that only we can help. Why? Because we have walked in their shoes and can understand their pain in a way that no one else can. Our journey came with some pain and suffering, and maybe, because of what we experience, we can use our pain to lighten the burdens of for someone else. What the devil meant for evil, turned out to be a blessing for others.” Uncle Paul

Stop Wasting Precious Time

“So, we must make the best of the time that we are given. For the future is not promised, so we must seize today and live it like there will be no tomorrow. We must love today day as if we have never been hurt before. We must step out on the dance floor of life, and dance like nobody is watching. We must sing like we are in the shower and nobody listening, and we must live like its heaven on earth. Each day comes bearing its own gifts, and we must untie, the ribbons, open the box and use the gift.” Uncle Paul

Reframe Your Story, Reclaim Your Life

“We are the storytellers, the narrators of our lives, we choose the story of our highs and lows, and we can spin our stories in any direction we want. That is, we can reframe our stories so that they serve and support us. In the end what really matters is not what happens to us, but the stories that we tell ourselves about what took place. What, story are you speaking? Reframe your story, reclaim your life.”

Uncle Paul

You Can Handle This

“Everything that happens to us, happens for a reason. Sometimes, giants come into our lives so that we can become stronger. They come to let us know that we have a fight in us that is yet to be uncovered and that this process that we are going through, right now is helping us uncover that strength. Not everybody can handle what you are going through right now; it is your destiny to fight the fight that you are fighting right now. Why? Because you can handle it; God will never put more on you than you can handle. Be bold and don’t be afraid, you got this.” Uncle Paul

Celebrate the Small Victories

“Don’t wait until we’ve reached our goals to celebrate. It is the little victories that happen along the way, that reaffirms our commitment to the process. We must rejoice when we accomplish what seems like even a small victory, and we must learn to cherish the process on the way to our big victories. Someone once said, that our victories are won not in miles but in inches. Win a little now, hold your ground, and win a little more later. Don’t wait for “someday” to celebrate, celebrate the small victories along the way and be happy now.”

Push through it.

“Thought: Don’t let life’s stress fractures, challenges and disappointments cast a shadow on tomorrow's dreams. We will face challenges, but we must push through them. It’s going to be painful, but we must push as hard as we can, to get to the other side of the pain. For it is on the other side of the pain, that we will find out, that all the pain was all worth it. Push through it.” Uncle Paul

There's a lesson in it.

"Every experience in life offers us a lesson. If we are to move forward in life, we must recognize life’s learning points and apply them to our daily lives. Once you apply the lesson, you will be a stronger and wiser person. Remember this; if you don’t apply the lesson, you will have to take the class over." Uncle Paul

Day Thirty-Six: 40-Day Journey of Gratitude

"The root behind all of our problems is that we don't trust the God who created us. And, we don't believe that a perfect God, could love a flawed person like you and me. He loves us for us. We are who God meant for us to be. He loves us with our flaws and all. Accept Yourself, Love Yourself, with Your Flaws and All. Believe it, and then trust it!"

Day Thirty-Five: 40-Day Journey of Gratitude

"One must look beyond the obvious, ones' skin color, gender, beliefs, culture, religion, genetic makeup, and behavior and we must confront our prejudices, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness. We must also celebrate diversity, for diversity is not to be feared, it is to be a teacher, and we are to be it, students. Imagine a world where everything and everybody was the same, what a boring place it would be. God put a rainbow in the sky, and we must celebrate its uniqueness and not fear it."
