You Don’t Owe That Debt

Our past is the past, and no amount of guilt can change the past. It’s impossible to reach our full potential if we are continually living in the past and that is why we need to live in the present moment. If we choose to live in the present moment, we must make peace with our past, and come to an understanding, that the only good time to look at the past, is to see how far we’ve come. 

Uncle Paul’s Thought: We don’t know what the future hold, but this one thing we do know, rehashing the pain of the past will never allow us to live in the now. So, accept the uncertainty of the future, release yourself from the past and begin to live in the now. Holding on to our past is like repeatedly paying a debt that we do not owe.
