My painful experiences of the past do not define who I am. I choose to replace my old story of hurt, blame, and resentment with a new story of healing, and inner strength. I now realize that I must let go of my old disempowering story, that has kept me stuck and I must grow from my pain, I must learn from my past, I must free myself from the chains of my past, and I must have the willingness and the courage to move beyond my painful past.
