We all have gone through some storms in life and in each of the storms, there where lessons, waiting to be learned. Here are some lessons that I have learned from my storms.
Lesson One: We can’t calm the storms, no matter what you are going through, all we can do is hunker down and brace ourselves for the storm. But, we can’t stop the storms, we have to go through them for they are part of the process.
Lesson Two: No matter how severe the storms are, they will pass. Remember that our current challenges and trails will pass.
Lesson Three: When we hit rock bottom there is only one way out, that is up. The harder we fall, the higher we’ll rise.
Lesson Four: We’ve survived a lot worse. You see, we are the master of resilience and survival, and we have faced insurmountable challenges, but we have always found a way around it.
Lesson Five: There is a lesson somewhere in the storm. We may not be able to stop life’s storms, but after the storm, we can reflect and learn the lesson, life is trying to teach us.
Uncle Paul’s Thought: Life is like a classroom, it is full of lessons, and we are continually preparing for our next big exam. Storms aren’t always what they seem, and they often come disguised with lessons.
