Real Friends Don’t Count Favors

Real Friends Don’t Count Favors

One should never spend time counting the favors one has done for another. In the end, we must understand, why we have done what we have done. Was it for praise? Did it come from the heart?  If it did not come from the heart, then we should not do it.  When one keeps track of the good deeds that they have done for others, they are expecting something in return. Life is much better when you stop counting the favors you’ve done for others.

Uncle Paul’s Thought: When one does a favor for a friend, they should never become a bean counter, counting each favor, expecting something in return. When REAL friends do another a favor, one should never hold that friend, indebted for eternally. If the motive is right, they owe you nothing in return.

Why?

Why?

Life is about action, just like a river.
