Sometimes you outgrow your friends.
When you grow, everyone around you will not grow at the same pace. There are some people in your life that you have just outgrown. You continue to hold on to them, thinking that one day they will catch up. The truth be told, they will never catch up and they are weighing you down, like an anchor holding a ship at the shore. Sometimes you have to let some people go and thank God for the season that they were in your life and move on. It may seem harsh, but it is necessary.
Uncle Paul’s Though: Remember this, every boat has a maximum amount of people it can carry. When it reaches that limit, you must set out and sail. If you try to add another person to the boat, you risk losing all. Sometimes, you have to leave some people behind, to save yourself. The best people to have on your boat are those that come along, not those that you have to pull along.
