In spite of all our complaining, life really has not been as bad as we say it has been. Sometimes we get so caught up focusing on life’s challenges, that we forget life’s blessings. If we were to sit down and added up all of life’s challenges and then added up all of our blessings, I would say that our blessed days, would outweigh our bad days and when we really think about it, we can’t complain. Well, we can, but we shouldn’t.
We are going to have some bad days, but we should not allow our bad days to define our tomorrows. Sometimes life is just hard, and some days are just rough, and sometimes we just have to shed a few tears before we can pick up and move forward. But please, don’t confuse my tears as a sign of weakness. Those are the days that I am actually my strongest. To be honest, I believe that we need those bad days because they help us truly appreciate the good ones.
Uncle Paul’s Thought: Don’t let your bad days define you. Take a few deep breaths, exhale and let go of today and focus your energy on your tomorrows. For your tomorrows are in your hands, and you get to choose what kind of day you are going to make it. Life has its ups and downs, and I thank God I have had more ups, then I have had downs. In the end, I can say, I have had some good days, and I have had some bad days, but life really hasn’t been that bad, because I have survived them all.
