Part One: Today I am thankful to be me. God created all of us in a unique way, and God did not make a mistake when He made us. We all have things that we do not like about ourselves, things that we wish were different. We wish we were taller, shorter, skinnier, we wish we had different hair, more hair. We wish we had more talent. We wish we could look like someone else. We wish we had someone else's smarts, and on and on. But when I think about it all, that is a slap in my Creators face. When you think about it, what we are saying is, sorry God you made a mistake with me. You blew it big time when you made me. You see, when we say God made a mistake, what we are really saying is God, I know better than you. But, God says, NO, I created you to be what I wanted, you to be and that is simply you. I created, you to be you and that is all I ever expected you to be, just YOU. And, for that, I am truly thankful.
Uncle Paul's Thought: The root behind all of our problems is that we don't trust the God who created us. And, we don't believe that a perfect God, could love a flawed person like you and me. He loves us for us. We are who God meant for us to be. He loves us with our flaws and all. Accept Yourself, Love Yourself, with Your Flaws and All. Believe it, and then trust it!
