Don’t choose your path in life, based on the expectations set on you by others, whether it’s your parents, friends, or society in general. You decide how you are to live your life, and as much as your loved ones love you, they don’t know it all, and they don’t know exactly what path is right for YOU. This is your life, so stop waiting for others to approve of your life and approve your own decisions in life, after all, it is your journey.
You deserve to be happy in all that you do, and you deserve to live a life you are excited about. Never let other people’s opinions of you or what you are doing, change that. Become aware of your own truth and live it, however frightening or strange that is for you. You have to follow your own path. Stop comparing yourself to others and don’t get discouraged by the progress of others. March to your own beat. Follow your own path and stay true to your own purpose. You have choices on how you want to live their life. So, don’t be afraid to follow the pathway, that perhaps only you can see at this point. Trust me the other will one day catch up.
