Why is it that we think we have to confront every issue we have had in life? Why is it that we always have to be the fixer? Somethings don’t have to be discussed, it was in the past, and we must move beyond the past. Why do we always think we have to have closure? What the hell is closure anyways? Why is it that we think, we have to have the last word?
Some words are best unspoken. Instead of confronting someone that you feel has done you wrong, hug them and hold them and say nothing. I bet that will be the most powerful words that were never spoken. Sure, we can rehash the past, we can argue about who hurt who, or we can choose to live in the NOW.
Uncle Paul’s Thought: Whatever you do, don’t let you past, block your future. Swallow your pride and accept that you have to do something that you that you said that you would never do. Look past the past and embrace the NOW.
