It’s Time To Make Some Bold Decisions

Some decisions in life are going to be tough. Some conversations that you are going to have are uncomfortable. Some decisions that you are going to make will not be popular; you may have to hurt some people’s feelings. But, there comes a time that you must stop making decisions based on other people’s expectations.

A true sign of growth in our lives is when we can make a decision not based on other people’s expectations. You have to weigh all the odds, but in the end, you must make the best decision for you. When you lay, you head on your pillow at night; you must have peace in your soul. Sometimes you just have to, do you, or should I say, do what is best for you. When you compromise your peace to please others, you are walking in unhealthy relationships.

You need to be bold and courageous when it comes to making decisions for your life. Look, we have already prayed about the situation, and we already have the answer. The problem is, we are worried about how others will react to our decisions. We cannot worry about what others think. We must do what we know is right. Stop living your life for others and live it for you.

As hard as these decisions are going to be, you have, to be honest with yourself. Lying to yourself is sabotaging your success in life. We must understand this; no bold decision is going to be easy. In fact, nothing in life is easy. Stop being afraid to make the bold decisions.

Make the decision. Commit to the decision. Act on your decision. If you want to achieve the life that you want, you must never, walk away, from your decision’s, simply to please someone else. The one you should be trying to please is yourself. Stop procrastinating and do the right thing, because the decision you are about to make is enormous. The longer you wait, the longer it will take to get to where you want to go. The day has come and the time is now, yes, you have the power to control your next decision. Make the next decision you make, be the one that will get you there. Wherever, there is. Don’t live in regret.

Remember this, in life, some doors will be opened, and some doors will be closed. We must stop stirring at the closed doors like they are about to open again. You need to understand that those doors remained closed for a reason. While you are focusing on the closed doors, you were too busy to notice that another door opened for you, and is waiting for you to walk through it. Let go of the past and walk into your new season. Always remember this, you have choices, in the decisions that you make. Choose well. – It’s Just a Thought – Paul Steven Smith (Uncle Paul) www.unclepaulsthoughts.com
