It’s Your Turn…

It’s Your Turn…

Most of us have been busy, doing everything for everyone else. We even feel guilty when we take some time for ourselves. We are essentially putting our own lives on the back burner. We are so busy helping our friends and family, deal with their lives that we have totally neglected ourselves. But, we need to understand is, we need to take care and love ourselves also. That means we have to accept the fact that we cannot do everything for everyone else and continue to neglect ourselves.

At some point in our lives, we must come into the reality of self-love. We have tried over and over again to be all that others needed, and yet we were not giving the same to ourselves. Sometimes wisdom finds us when we need it most. At this moment, we must choose to recognize ourselves as a valuable gem of wisdom truth and knowledge.

We must use our voices to be an inspiration for all those who may be in the wilderness neglecting themselves. Now is time to heal and be whole. Now is the time to celebrate your new life. Now is the time to love yourself again. Stop trying to please everyone else. Don’t neglect yourself, please yourself first, before it’s too late. Remember this; life is too short not to live it your way, for it can change in a moment. So, stop, re-evaluate yourself, be honest with one’s self, and regain your self-respect. – It’s Just a Thought – Paul Steven Smith (Uncle Paul) www.unclepaulsthoughts.com
