Embrace Life’s Chaos
We all have those days when we feel as though we are standing still, feeling stuck, unable to move forward. Those days full of uncertainty and change, in our jobs, relationships, at home and in our lives. We begin to feel as if our lives are slipping down this slippery slope, of anxiety and self-doubt.
Life as we know it is uncertain, unpredictable, complex and fast and we must accept it for what it is. We must let go of the thoughts of how it should be and accept it the way it is. We must recognize that our lives are imperfect, and it comes with flaws. Yes, I said it, we are not perfect, we all come with our own bag of issues. The truth be told, we all have issues, your issue may not be my issues, but we all have some.
Sometimes, we don't have control over what happens in our lives, and at times life seems truly unfair. It is in those times that we must understand that we don't have control over what happens. Some things in life can be controlled, but some can't be controlled, because that is just how life is and we must learn to accept that.
We have no control over life’s circumstances, and at some point, in our lives, we must stop overthinking, stop overanalyzing and stop trying to predict the future and just start living. You see, there comes a time when we must embrace the chaos, and move forward, and act on the things we can control. It is only when we begin to move forward that we can truly begin to embrace life’s chaos.
I promise if you hold on through all of the chaos, you will laugh again; you will feel empowered, you will enjoy the ride in this thing called life. Learn to let go. Begin to move forward in life. Find success in life. Discover life’s true meaning. And understand this, we cannot control chaos, but we can control how we respond. I believe that in order for us to live our lives, pursue our dreams and goals, and live life to our fullest potential, we must learn to accept life on life’s terms, not our own. – It’s Just a Thought – Paul Steven Smith (Uncle Paul) www.unclepaulsthoughts.com
