Look, just because things don't seem to be working out, does not mean that you are walking outside of the will of God. Maybe God is controlling the circumstances of your life to bring about His purpose for you. God will sometimes, allow your path to be filled with thickets and thorns, to make our journey a little difficult because He intends on refining us and preparing us for our place of promise.

In case you're in a period of refining, lean into it, don’t run from it. There comes a time that we must surrender to the will of God, and begin to say, not my will, but your will be done. Storms will come, lions will roar, the opposition will challenge you and your fears will be more real than ever. It is in times like these that you must humble yourself and seek to understand what the Lord is doing around you. Take the Fathers hand and let Him lead you through the storm, trust God and know, that He will safely lead you to the other side. Remember this, nothing worth having ever comes easy or without a fight.
