PROVE THEM WRONG…

When people doubt you, prove them wrong. So often, someone has told you what you can and cannot do if life. They told you that you could not do something in life because you are not smart enough. They told you that you could not become something in life because you are not tall enough. They told you that you could not achieve something in life because you are not strong enough. But the sad thing about it is we believe them, and we gave up on our dreams. The moment those words escaped their lips, it pierced your confidence, and we allowed those words to remain stuck in our head for years. Those two words “You Can’t” are still somewhat hurtful for you to hear.

There will always be some that will criticize your choices- your career, your spouse, your body, your personality, and on and on and on. Don’t let others still your dreams. You can accomplish anything you want to in life, but you must be driven by your passion, ambition, and perseverance. You see, you are capable of achieving more than most believe to be possible. You were born a winner, it is in you DNA, and you can’t give up. So, don't give up on your dreams, just because you are the underdog because people are not helping you, because someone told you that you could not do it, prove them wrong.

I guess what I’m trying to say is, let the “You Can’t” be your motivation to prove your naysayers wrong. You must be determined to succeed, despite overwhelming obstacles that attempt to stand in your way. You, yes you, must take action and make it happen. You must be determined to keep on persevering no matter how many times it looks like you may fail. You have to say to yourself; I can bet the odds, I can do this thing, yes, it is possible, I can see the finish line, it’s right here, right now.

So, the next time somebody says you won’t make it, think of it as an honest mistake on their part. Your job is to continue to maintain your focus, be phenomenal, be patient, keep working on it, but most of all, prove them wrong. Yes, I can, and I did.
